Expat Impressions of The Hague

As a way to reach out to both the expat and local communites and showcase some of our material, the EAC used photographs and writings from its own collection and from international schools, expat organisations and other archives to create an exhibition called Expat Impressions of The Hague.

The exhibition ran from 26 October to 14 November 2015 in The Hague City Hall atrium.

Exhibition Boards

Each board focused on a different aspect of the expat experience within The Hague. We have been busy with creating a digital presentation for each board and will be gradually releasing the results.

Customs | Nature | Food & Drinks | Beach | Housing | Interactions with Locals | Transport

Academic Analysis

Aniek Smit, then a PhD student at Leiden University, provided background and an academic perspective on the Exhibition.
