Meet us at the History of The Hague Day, 18 April 2015

17 March 2015

The Expatriate Archive Centre (EAC) will be appearing at the History of The Hague Day (de Dag van de Haagse Geschiedenis). Taking place on Saturday, 18 April 2015 from 11am to 4pm on the Plein in The Hague, the event is intended for all residents of The Hague to become acquainted with the city’s rich history.

Participants include some 40 museums, historical institutes and volunteer groups based in The Hague. These organisations will organise all kinds of activities such as city tours, lectures, boat trips and workshops. The Plein is the main location for the day. It is open to the public free of charge.

History of the Hague Day

The EAC will be at the information market on the Plein. You can find out more about why preserving the social history of expats is so important, and what the archive does with all the material it collects. At our stand, you can pick up your ticket for an event which will give you an exclusive look behind the scenes. See how the institution grew from a suitcase to an archive.
